Who am I & what's my relationship to media.

I saw this ads a year ago, I don't know if it's just me or someone else would also feel something is not right of seeing "U might eligible 4 financial aid $" on a college ads.

I’m a female, a painter, a Taiwanese, a student. I came to US alone 6 years ago, without knowing the language and didn't know anyone here; six years later, I am graduating from a college and have bunch of friends, I believe I have a strong mind in order to do so. I am able to live in New York city but not America. The idea of being an artist is great, but an artist lives in reality world is not. I like to do abstract painting because it is what reflects my thoughts at the moment and not what I train to do.

I have a love and hate relationship with media. I love watching TV, partially because I was not allowed to do so when I was little. However, I am not a big fan of reality show(contest shows are fine), I think those shows are dumb. Media is in my everyday life and I can't live without, especially my blackberry. However, I would like to keep its format as simple as it can cause I am kinda a tech idiot. Internet is the main source for me to gather information. Ever since we can read the news online, I don't even buy the newspaper anymore. Internet and smart phones have made my life much easier, however, it's so invasive and addictive. People can reach you at anytime and get your information whenever they want to from internet.
